Hi,

I am new to Mac, I have a MacBook Air. I accidentally downloaded something called Flip Player. From what I have read to delete I drag to the trash can but this just isn't deleting. Is there another way?

:)

1) You can't remove the app from Finder/Desktop? OR 2) Trash won't empty?

1) COMMAND + DELETE on application
2) Hold OPTION key when you empty trash

Since you probably tried to install it, there is still a mounted disk image visible on the Desktop and in Finder's Sidebar.
To get rid of it, click on it and press CMD+E to eject the disk image, then delete the downloaded file.

It does not remove everything:
My bad. Here are the other files:

/Users/YourHomeFolder/Library/Saved Application State/net.telestream.Flip-Player.savedState

/Users/
YourHomeFolder/Library/Preferencesnet.telestream.Flip-Player.plist

Delete both and it's all gone.

Should you not have the uninstaller, simply drag these files and the application to the trash, open the Finder menu and secure empty the trash.
