how to delete something i downloaded

i was wondering if anyone knew how to delete something that i downloaded onto the computer. I have recently downloaded vuze and i dont want it anymore. Do i just put it in the trash bucket or is there a certain way i have to do it. If anyone knows i would love an answer

Just put it in the trash, then empty the trash.
