How to delete StudioTaxForMac2014?

I downloaded 'StudioTaxForMac 2014' and then realized it's not what I thought it was and will not be using it. I want to remove it from my MacBook, but I can't! It is sitting on my Launchpad and I have tried everything I know to get rid of it. Any tips for me to try?

Have you opened Finder, clicked on Applications, and tried to delete it from there?

No, I had not tried that... So, just now I tried it and it worked!!! That was easy!! Thanks so much!!!!!
