hi guys
before i start, i have already read the apple support article regardig counterfeit lightning cables
here's the question...
I got an iphone SE and Well ,The Lightning cable looked so much thicker than that of my iphone 10 and 8plus
Checking The stuff mentioned on apple support article it seems to be genuine
the Golden bars On the connector seem smooth the usb-A port seems Smooth and the cable it self is a Bit stiff but since Its new It has to be a normal thing
but I can't Find a reason the thickness
it connects to itunes There is no warning saying this Cable may not work with this iphone reliably

should i be worried Or this is A genuine cable?
Or maybe New cables are thicker
or Thats merely my imagination

Thanks for reading
and definitly appreciate any Help

Apple changed their cable material back with the iPhone 7 I believe to be more ‘environmentally friendly’ when it launched. I’m not sure exactly what they changed, but it does feel thicker and not is pliable as previous iPhone cables. It’s definitely different and thicker from the iPhone 6s cable material that they were using before.

As long as you’re not receiving a message on your iPhone stating the ‘accessory you are using is not supported’, then it shouldn’t be an issue.
