I have run across a couple of Think Different posters for sale in a local consignment shop and I am trying to determine if they are fakes and hoping someone can help me with this.

The first one is of Picasso but it is not the one I have seen in the past with the striped shirt. Here is a link to an image of the one I found: http://myoldmac.net/Sellpicts/think-picts/Think-Picasso.jpg

It is one of the 20"x28" ones which I have seen a few people say those are fakes while others are saying they were done in Europe.

The other one is a 24"x36" Gandi poster. The one thing that makes me question it is the fact that it has a Copyright line on it. Those that I have seen online don't seem to have that line. (The above Picasso one I saw also has the Copyright line on it.)

Any thoughts or suggestions on these? Thanks for the help.

There are a couple guys from Germany selling these for dirt cheap. I think they are all reprints. I bought a Buzz Aldrin from this seller and it's a totally awesome poster, you couldn't tell it was a fake...crisp, good contrast, glossy matte finish, even smelled fresh and new, and the colored Apple logo was perfect. The photo is stunning. I even bought another one from him. But, there is no way he is selling the volume of posters that he's selling without them being reprints, he lists a new batch of them on global.ebay.com every week. Just search for "Think different poster" and you will find a list of 24x36" Think Different posters from a seller in Germany.

Here is the same poster I bought from him. Listed at $1.00:

By any chance do you know if the originals had a copyright line on them?

I have an Edison and a Richard Feynman that I know are 100% originals and they do not have a copyright line on them. Neither does my Picasso, my Joan Baez, my Ghandi, or my Hitchcock. Only the ones I have gotten from Germany on eBay have the copyright line on them....the Buzz Aldrins, and a set of 6 of the 22x28" posters all have the copyright line on them.

Well then I would definitely say these 2 I found are both reproductions of some sort since they both have a copyright on them. I kind of figured that was going to be true as it seemed uncharacteristic of apple to mess up a piece of art with a copyright line. So they definitely are not worth the $80 and $60 they are asking for them. Maybe if I can get them down to $10 or something I might buy them. Thanks for your help and input.
