How to determine screen manufacture?

I don't have a MBPr but I am interested in learning about the image retention problems. How do you determine screen manufacture on the MBPr's? This well help me down the line if I ever need to purchase a used MBPr.

My mid 2012 13in MBP says manufacture "00000610". What do the MPBr's say? Anyone know who 610 is?

Maybe this* can help finding the model, if the Terminal command** does not work.

The Terminal command that's floating around only works on the 15" rMBP. The 13" model does not have any manufacturer information in the monitor's DDC info data.

So how do you guys that are buying 13" MBPr's know whether you're getting an LG or a Samsung screen?
