How to disable Apple Intelligence under Sequoia 15.3.2?

Hi, just received a M4 Air and updated to the latest version of the OS during initial setup. As I recall, Apple Intelligence is now turned on by default. According to the following article, there is a button next to Apple Intelligence but this button is not shown in 15.3.2

How do I check if it is enable or not? If it has been enabled by default, how to turn it off?

Are you in a supported region and/or using a supported language? Apple Intelligence isn't available everywhere yet, so that's probably why you're not seeing it. You may get it with the upcoming 15.4 update.
