How to disable SpeedStep?

I googled it and found CoolBook, but that doesn't work for i CPU's.

I don't think you can disable it without Coolbook. I've found CB to be rather buggy on my one C2D machine. I'd suggest preventing the system from automatically slowing down the CPU by having it always do something. An app that I've used in the past is SystemLoad. All it does is make one or more of the CPU's cores do something.
