How to disable the headphone jack (auto feature)?

So here's what I'd like to do: Have my headphones plugged in at all times, but be able to switch back and forth between the headphones and built-in speakers without plugging and unplugging all the time. I'm on Leopard with an alMac.

Someone could probably write a script for it, but I just leave the Sys Prefs open at Sound > Output, and toggle between the two choices with the arrow key.
