How to display dock on right side on dual monitors arranged on top of each other?

I have my TV above my desk at school and I connect my macbook to it and arrange the screens so that the big TV screen is above my laptop screen and I have my dock positioned on the right side and I want to be able to make it appear on my TV screen when it's being used as the "primary" monitor.

Any ideas?

How to Place the Dock in a Corner of the Screen in OS X Mavericks

The terminal commands contained in the article let you put the Dock in several interesting places. Perhaps one of those is right for you.

In System Preferences / Displays, move the white menu bar form the lower screen to the upper screen : this will place the Dock in the upper screen.

(only works when the Dock is positioned on the left or right side, does not work when positioned in the bottom).
