How to do a fresh install?

I've decided I want to do a fresh install on my 27" iMac, after I back up all my data how do I go about performing this? I did a quick search on the internet but all I could find was how to upgrade to snow leopard from leopard...

I've decided I want to do a fresh install on my 27" iMac, after I back up all my data how do I go about performing this? I did a quick search on the internet but all I could find was how to upgrade to snow leopard from leopard...

Fresh install requires the recovery disk that came with your iMac. Put it in and reinstall system software.
