How to do free skype videoconferencing calls?

How do you do free videoconferencing calls? I have a Macbook... My dad also has a Macbook and we were wondering how to do this video conferencing thing.. thanks

You and your dad will need to sign-up for a Skype account, then add each other to your contact lists, and then you should be able to video-call.

You can set-up an account by opening the Skype application and selecting "Create an Account" when it asks you to log-in.

Ok, cool. So we both have accounts and we've added each other. Can anyone give me step by step instructions on how to do video calls? I'm sorry, I'm not the most technologically advanced person!
