How to do video recording in IPHONE?

Is there any APP in the Installer 3.0?

there is an app in installer that lets u record but its got a limit of 5 secs :(

does anyone know why apple didn't install video on it/

I was so surprised, the iPhone can do just about anything.. except record video

I guess it would have gone against all Apple's battery saving etc etc rules.

We'll sure be getting some 'proper' video recording soon :)

Probably because size, and compression that Apple didn't want to add extra to the iPhone.

There is an App in Installer though called Show Time i believe.

If you want it, just hack your phone. Takes less than a minute to do..

I am certain one will come out with the release of the SDK.

Which is why I'm certain the new iPhone software will include it.

Apple has to know someone else will do it eventually after the app store launches, so I'm sure they'll go ahead and put it into the default software. Compared to other apps I'm sure that getting the best battery life will be more complicated in video recording, and they probably trust themselves the most in getting that right.

I'm not so sure we will see a real recording app.
I don't know anything about developing, but when they showed the media APIs, it included audio recording, audio mixing, audio playback, and video playback (along with some others), but there was no mention of video recording.
