I have an iPhone 5 running iOS 7 that I would like to downgrade to iOS 6.1.4. I received a replacement phone in the mail today and got all of my stuff restored to it so all that's left is to wipe out the old one, which I'd like to do by restoring it to 6.1.4. I'm using iTunes beta 11.1. Is it possible to do it this way? Or would I have to wipe it by restoring back to iOS 7? If that's the case, will Apple care that I put iOS 7 GM when I'm not a developer?

Thanks!

download the 6.1.4 ipsw for your device, then put your phone into recovery mode, shift (or option on mac i think) + click restore, choose the ipsw you downloaded.
