The iphone 4 has a smaller sim card than the iphone 3. Is it impossible to downgrade for free? Do i have to buy some adapter or buy a completely new sim card? I plan on shipping out my iphone 4 tomorrow and i'm left with a iphone 3. I just noticed i cant switch the sim cards since they're different. I'd appreciate any help, thanks!

You should be able to go to the AT&T store and either get an adapter or have them give you a new SIM card that will fit your 3G(s).

Thanks. Will those be free or do they normally charge you?

My new iphone 5 arrives friday and i found a buyer who's willing to pay me more than what I expected to sell the iphone 4 for. I'd like to take the offer before i lose it.

Are you selling your 5 or your 4?

In my experience, AT&T stores will take care of the SIM cards for free. AT&T Authorized Retailers will charge you. Last time they wanted $25.
