How to downgrade from tvOS?

Im on tvOS 16.6 beta 2 and I want to downgrade back to tvOS 16.5. I tried going to settings and choosing reset and update. I get an error message every time saying "Apple TV can't download the latest update right now. Try again later."

Is there a way to restore the Apple TV by connecting it to my Mac? I have the Apple TV 2022 version which doesn't have the usb c port on it. Not sure how to connect it to my Mac?

Sounds like if you can't physically connect it to a computer (like an Apple Watch), then you're stuck until the release version is available to "upgrade" to.
