This might be a silly question but how will (or 'do' depending on when you read this post) you be able to download a complete version of macOS in Mojave to make an OS boot disk. I.e. Mojave OS boot disk once the public release occurs. I'm currently running the latest Mojave beta. I used to download the current OS from the App Store. But that has now changed in Mojave. Apple does not have macOS in either the App Store or in the macOS software update. You just appear to only be able to update to Mojave. Not download the full OS. So where is it going to be officially available?

I just want to make a complete Mojave boot disk once the public release occurs.

  1. Download this script from GitHub.
  2. Command + Space (Spotlight search), type "Terminal" or go to /Applications/Utilities/ and double-click Terminal.
  3. In the Terminal window write "sudo".
  4. Drag and drop the script installinstallmacos.py onto the Terminal window.
  5. Push Enter and input your administrator password.

Once the final is released I think it will be in the App Store. Why would you think it wouldn't be the same as before?

For the reason that I searched for High Sierra in the Mojave App Store (as a check) and it wasn't available at the time (when High Sierra was the current OS).
