Macxtrem.com just went offline and I need to download the entire site so I can attempt to rehost it. I need a folder that I can just host on my PowerMac in a sub directory of my starpc.us (currently offline site).

If you have wget[/i[ installed you can do it simple with:
Code:wget -m http://macxtrem.com
You may also wish to set the follow robots.txt option off.
do you own that site? You can only do that if you own the site, because you know, that silly thing call 'copyrights'

it should be wget, right?
rgds,
Your point doesn't make any sense. Even if it is offline, not updated for years, doesn't mean you can suddenly own it.
If you see a house empty for 6 years, will you claim it as yours?
On one hand there is the copyright issue, on the other hand, unless the website was only static content, you probably won't be able to re-create a website from the wayback machine.
Oh my god its bear, I haven't seen a post by you since I was a newbie.
What on earth are you going on about? I've seen plenty of posts by him.
