How to e mail a text from an Iphone to and e mail adress

Can someone please post steps or direct me to a post where it details how to e mail a text message from and Iphone to an e mail address.

What details do you need? You simply type the addy, or select it in the to field, then send your message.

1.Open Messages app

2.Tap the section of text you wish to select, select it, then press copy

3.Open Mail

4.Compose a new email, fill in the address and subject fields

5.In the box underneath Subject, long-press on the screen and select paste

Voila!

Thanks guys, what I was trying to keep was who said what? When I tap and forward it looses who said what and bcomes a single paragraph. No way to keep the conversation so you can tell who said what?

Have you searched the forums? I know there was a thread not long ago where someone posted a computer software that you can use to export them from your phone and view as a PDF, it keeps the full conversation view, text bubbles and all, but I don't remember what it was called.
