How to edit a picture/object in Word for Mac 15.14 on OS X El Capitan

I'm running Word for Mac v.15.14 on OS X El Capitan.
I can't work out how to resize a picture/object.
When I right-click on the object, a list of option appears, but the "edit picture" option is greyed out.
I cannot find an "edit picture" option in any of the tabs.

Any help would be much appreciated.
