Hi,
Last year I very laboriously created score videos for a few of my shorter pieces: syncing jpegs of music score to audio. After much trial and error, trips to Apple's Genius Bar, asking friends, and a lot of "that's such a PITA..." I did them (not too well) using GarageBand's podcast feature. (FYI: iMovie made it nearly impossible to drop the image accurately onto the audio track. I tried it then.) The issue was trying to exactly (and quickly) sync of the image of a page section of score to the audio. I've been told that the podcast feature no longer works in GB. Can't say I'm too upset, but then, if so... now what do I use?
I'm surprised that I see these all over Youtube but no one seems to know how they're made, or those who have replied when I contacted them on YT told me they did them on Windows.
Surely there must be a simple and efficient way of creating these on the Mac, no?
Any help as to software, or technique/methodology, would be GREATLY appreciated!
This is one that I made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3UbVWhCvCY
This is one that I just found on YT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aj2gFk0FoKo
