How to eliminate "Sub-Contacts" from Mail? Hmmm...

I need to delete all of the "sub-contacts" I have for someone, so that when I start typing in their name in the "to" field, only one name comes up, as opposed to all of this persons different emails.

We have switched from one email to another at my work, and the address that initially pops up is the old one. I tried deleting the contact from address book, but it did not change anything.

So, looking at the image I attached, I wish to change it so that only one address is used for this guy, not the multiple it pulls up.

In Mail,

Windows -> Previous Recipients

You can edit the list there.
