I've downloaded an App called Enable Emoji but the instructions definatly don't work with iOS4, can anyone help?

How to enable Emoji on iOS4?

I had to use the spellnumber app, it worked fine. Just follow the instructions on the app's info page. and I had the emoji keyboard turned on too. Hope this helps, I just woke up.
