I’m pulling my hair out on this one.

I’m on iPadOS 13.4.1

I’ve connected my Magic Mouse 2 to my iPad. However I can’t right click.

I’ve looked all over the internet, and can’t find a solution.

Apparently there is an enable secondary click for Magic Mouse In iPad settingS somewhere, I’ve seen in an online screenshot. But when I go to that page on my iPad, that option isn’t there (screenshot attached, please look), it should be an option right at the bottom.

And when I have managed to find the Setting page to set mouse buttons. I can only set button 1, because right clicking on my Magic Mouse isn’t being recognised.

Any help please...

I thought this would be more easy to setup because I’m using an official magic mouse 2.

OK I just found it finally with my last google search. I was going into the wrong settings menu.

I’ll be honest I still blame this on iPadOS. I was literally searching mouse in the settings search bar, and not one result took me to the General > Trackpad & Mouse settings page (screenshot attached).

Yeah, this is a big problem with the mouse & trackpad implementation - the scattering of settings. Apple should condense them all under a single menu heading and get it out from under Accessibility now that it's meant to be mainstream functionality.

OK you are not going to like this, but if you are using a Magic Keyboard you have to click on the Control Key and Tap on the Trackpad with two fingers. It’s annoying, but its necessary. I rely heavily on it especially when I am using Microsoft Remote Desktop and Need that Right Click in Windows.
