How to enable Touch ID Amazon app?

I have read several articles stating that the Amazon app supports Touch ID. However, I don't see how to enable or test it. I had to manually enter my email and password and verified my 1Click settings. I didn't see any offer to use Touch ID in lieu of the former. I did check the settings for the app, and it shows Touch ID on.

Anyone figure this out?

I figured it out. Once I logged in and changed my 1Click settings it asked me if I wanted to use Touch ID for purchases. It is a shame that Amazon hasn't set this feature up in a more clear cut manner. In my opinion, the option should be always visible in the user settings etc.
