How to exclude wav files from itunes

I just had a weird new update in itunes and now all my pc games wav files show in music itunes. Really annoying. I s there a way to exclude a certain type of files? Thanks guys.

A simple way would be to put them all in a folder outside the iTunes folder. You can also highlight them all in iTunes and delete them from your library, but keep the files.

They're not in the itunes folder, I only have music in there, i guess it scanned for all audio files on my pc. Thanks anyway.
