how to expand video for web

Hi everyone,

I came accross a website (cnt remember which one) and they had a video on the web.

However, when you clicked on the play button, the video expanded to a bigger screen (but not full screen) and the background turned black i believe.

I wanted to upload a video and wanted to know how you do this. I dont want to have a standard video with the full screen option.

Any experts on this? i cnt seem to get my head round this...

I would think that it's the way that the website is written, rather than anything to do with the video.
