is there a mod or extension or something that hides the menu bar and lets you full or split screen and have the window hit the very top of the edge of the screen. sure the notch will cover some parts of the windows up, but that extra height is worth it. and when i hover towards the edge, the menu bar would slide out (hovering over the window(s) below. this would be SOOOO nice. why isn't this built in?

"Automatically hide and show the menu bar
Choose when to hide and show the menu bar:
Always: Always hide and show the menu bar.
On Desktop Only: Hide and show the menu bar when not using an app in full screen.
In Full Screen Only: Hide and show the menu bar when using an app in full screen.
Never: Never hide the menu bar.
Move the pointer to the top of the screen to show the menu bar when it’s hidden."

I don't think the OS will do, what you want it to do.

You can move a window a little "off-screen" to the left.
You can move the window "to the right".
You can even move it "down".

But you CAN'T move it up.
That's "burned into" the Mac OS.
