How to export photos with faces and places ?

Hi guys,

I have some events in my iPhoto that I'd like to give to my parents on their Mac. Since I've spent a lot of time tagging all the faces on those photos, I'd like to find a way to give them those "events" in iphoto without losing any data or image quality.

How should I do that ? Should I try the export function with the max quality (I'm wondering if I'd still lose some quality or some info by doing that), or should I open the iPhoto package to find what I'm looking for ?
