how to find hidden files

Hidden files, where could they be?

From the finder, do a Search (File > Find...).

In the Find window set the Search for items whose:
Select Visibility and invisible items

Careful when playing with invisible files or else you will be creating a, I deleted x and now yada yada yada...

Although, it really depends what you're looking for.
