How to find icon created by safari - bookmark

I'm not happy with the captured image approach from web pages that Apple uses. I think I have the tools required to change the icons on my iphone,

I have made some icons using icon creator but I cant find the original icons in the unix based directory structure that would allow me to replace them.

Where are all the other icons that occupy my Iphone pages that DO NOT occur under /private/var/mobile/Applications?
