How to find if Iphone4s is already activated?

Hi,

How can i find out if my iphone4s is already activated?I had bought my iphone 4s in Japan and now i am in India..I need to know whether it is already activated?

If you're into the homescreen where you can see and open apps it's activated.
But activated doesn't equal unlocked.
Not sure what you're trying to do but if your iPhone is locked to a Japan carrier it won't work with any other companies sim.

Regardless of whether or not it's activated, your Japanese iPhone will not work on an Indian carrier unless the phone is unlocked.
