How to find list of all "space-takers" in MacBook Pro???

I have a 2.4 GHz MBP that came with (I think) 160 GB of space. When I click on "Macintosh HD," it says that I have 27.4 GB available. So, I want to clean up my hard-drive. Is there some sort of "master list" I can check that shows where my 100+ used GB's are allotted?

I use this program in it's "free" mode to see which folders are the biggest (size wise) and then clean-up from there.

There are other programs that do the same thing that I'm sure others will recommend shortly.

Yes, there are other good ones including Grand Perspective and Disk Inventory X which are totally free and one called WhatSize that only allows you to scan the first 20Gb in the free mode.

I vouch for GRAND PERSPECTIVE. Its great. It scans your harddrive and gives you a visual representation of what files take up space on your disk...
