Where can I get news and updates about the status of the iOS 6 Jailbreak? Doing a Google Search always brings up nonsense spam websites with fake jailbreaks.

Keep googling. Fake sites should look more than obvious and a legit jailbreak will NEVER ask you to pay.
Pretty sure we will be posting and talking about it here. problem is sorting through the 50 threads asking about it. 
but as far as places to keep a eye on the official sites are best.
