So, I kept the Mavericks installer on an external drive just in case I'd like to make a fresh install without waiting for my slow internet to download the whole 6 (?) GB's again, and I also made a bootable USB for that.
When my classic Mac Pro went back to the seller for repair some time ago, he asked me if he could install me another version of Mavericks before sending it back, because my version of Mavericks doesn't seem to work properly.
Now I'm wondering, what could be wrong with it? I've made the bootable installer step by step and it was the same on several sites.
Is there a way to check that? Like an "Apple Software Test" of some kind? I'm going to reinstall it soon and would like to make sure I do it correctly.
