Hi,

I am working Mac OS X 10.4 machine.

I want to find the server ip address of a file.

I connect one server for example i am connecting smb://172.16.3.206/06macdata02 and it is connected.

If i get the path of any one file in 06macdata02 i get the file path as /Volumes/06macdata02/filename.txt

My requirement is to find the server ipaddress(ie 172.16.3.206) using this path. How can i do this?

Thanks in advance...
