I have been a Mac user for only a couple of years, and my mother recently purchased an iMac from my positive reviews of my Apple machine (a mid 2010 Mac Book Pro).
The other day we were trying to create photographs for her contacts on her iMac and upon setting the photo, the entire photo would either disappear entirely, or reduce itself so that only a person's shoulder (for example) appears.
Strangely when we logged into iCloud.com using her iCloud and created a photograph for a contact that way -- it did save correctly and filter down to her iMac and her iPhone.
What do you think is going wrong with contact photo function when it is done from her iMac? And how do I fix it?
