On my A1150, I had tried to load bootcamp and windows xp. Not sure what i did wrong (haven't touched this laptop in 1-2 years), but something screwed up and it never worked.

Now when I boot up the laptop, it says "No bootable device -- Insert boot disk and press any key". I know I can hold down option and choose the HDD and it'll boot up fine, but i want to fix that and make it go away.

My ultimate goal is to reinstall OS (install Snow Leopard), and try again to install bootcamp and windows 8.

What steps should i follow to fix the boot up sequence (assuming thats the problem), install fresh OS, install boot camp, and then Windows 8? Obviously i screwed something up, just not sure where it went wrong..

EDIT: May have to install Win7 on the A1150.. Not sure that Win8.1 will work.
