iPod touch How to fix Disabled IPodTouch?

Hey,
my first Gen Ipod touch was disabled by a friend,
I've tried everything to fix it.
Such as recovery, following all the steps to un disable it. Still Isn't working for me...
When I hold the home button, and plug it in etc. The recovery button, doesn't come up..
Note: this Itouch is Jail Broken, so taking it in the the Apple store is not an option...
please help ASAP, that'd be most appreciated... Thanks.

Did you try putting it in DFU mode? If not, google it and follow directions.

Yep, try DFU. Maybe the JB bricked it.
