Safari renders text differently than other browsers like Firefox and Chrome so if you are switching to Safari (or vice-versa) the text may be an eyesore until you get used to it.
Firefox.............

You can easily fix it so it looks the same or almost the same as all other browsers (useful especially if you use both Safari and other browsers)
Create a text file named fixfont.css (or w/e) and paste this into it:
and save it; it can be anywhere but I recommend you put it with the other safari stuff in ~/Library/Safari
In Safari preferences go to Advanced tab and at “Style sheet:” select the css file.
Text won't be an eyesore anymore
