Hi,

I was never able to find a solution for the infamous "HP 3200" problem with Macs but apparently my dad found a solution and I just wanted to share it with the world (and hopefully this topic will be indexed on Google):

I was able to get the 3200 working on all the iMacs last night. The proper driver is now installed on both of your systems after a bunch of research. The driver that we needed to be using was called ‘HP 3200 - Gutenprint v5.1.3’. The stock HP OS X 10.5 driver for the older HP 3200’s (like ours) uses PCL instead of PostScript and the new Macs cannot translate it properly through CUPS (Common Unix Print Server) which is the Mac platform for printing. At any rate, all is well now and I have updated both of your ‘puters.

Hurrah!
