Not unless your an idiot (like the video creator is).

There's this thing called a case...

He has 500k+ views with about 24 hours of being uploaded and ads on his page. He will likely make back the cost of the device, and then some, by the time people stop clicking.

It's exactly like the guys who smash phones, throw them in a blender, etc. It's there for shock value, and he is paid for it.

Stupid video. I wouldn't be surprise if it was made by Samsung people. You might as well throw the phone to the concrete.
Guy looks ridiculous wiping the lens with finger after he grind the lens off. It's damaged as eff...

Well I'm glad I have on adblock+ installed then. I encourage others to do the same to dissuade this sort of nonsense and not reward the video creator for doing idiotic things.

I laughed at the fact that a text message that was being sent to Tim Cook was going out as SMS and not iMessage. lol.

Like anything, your entitled to your opinions but don't assume they actually mean anything in this big universe.

I don't feed attention seekers but I mean I guess I don't really care that they exist. Some of the videos are funny though.

Whatever makes you happy. It's entertainment. Don't like it? You certainly don't have to watch.

As far as adblock, I am not sure how that works. It may do nothing to prevent the uploader from gaining the revenue for the view you provided. All you may be doing is causing an advertiser to lose the money they spent on trying to get that ad to you.

Further, I run adblock too and still see ads when viewing dricetly through youtube. I assume most views consist of such traffic.

I love a good funny video. Unfortunately, this video was dumb. That's just 3 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

But what about the protruding silent switch? And the slightly protruding volume/power button? How come no one had a problem with those before?

For those wondering about the ads on this video and how much money he may or may not have made from views.

You money is only around $7 per 1000 views of the ad. If you choose skip ad, the view doesn't count. He doesn't get paid. It is very hard to make an actual amount of money on YouTube videos.
And of course the ad doesn't play for every person that watches the video.

Someone said he had 500,000 views. So let's assume the ad plays on 1/4 of the views. So that's 125,000 potential views of the ad. If 10% of them watch the add the whole way through, 12,500 ad views. At $7 per 1000 views, the total amount would be $87.

Is that really a serious question? because they don't stop something laying flat on a table.

It is a serious question. Is the fact that the phone doesn't lay completely flat on a table really that big a deal? These people need to get a life.

Let me say that again.

THESE PEOPLE NEED TO GET A LIFE. ;)

Meanwhile there's people who haven't gotten their phones yet and don't mind the camera sticking out a little bit. AH!
