How to fix iPhone OTA sync

I'm suprised this isn't sticky'd. I spent all night trying to get my replaced 3g to sync contacts and calendars. All I had to do was delete the account and when entering my email address in, type it all in lowercase. Saved and bam. Everything synced. Found the post on discussion.apple. Hope this helps.
