My iphone 3gs is bricked and its on the newest ios 6.0.1 with the Ipad baseband 6.15.0. I keep getting error -1 in itunes when I try a restore, and I have the old bootrom. How do I fix this?

Downgrade to ios 4.1 and then downgrade your baseband back too. Later you can restore to ios 6

Your phone is not "bricked". iPhones cannot be bricked except by sudden hardware failure. Do yourself a favor and stop using the term "bricked". It screams n00b for the whole world to hear !

Go to this page, read the blogpost --> http://blog.iphone-dev.org/post/26534086824/baseband-freedom

Revert it to 4.1 firmware, use older Redsn0w to get rid of iPad baseband. There is a tutorial in iClarified.com to follow.

Once you have reverted to the baseband to 5.13.xx, use the newest Sn0wbreeze to go to 6.1.2 (6.0.1 is not the newest firmware) but preserve your baseband for unlocking, jailbreak with newest evasi0n, then Ultrasn0w to unlock.
