Hi,

Is there a way to force a reactivation ?

I have an iPhone 3G which was bought second-hand.
But now I have an AT&T sim card (already used to activate another 3G).

How can I force iTunes to reactivate my iPhone with this Simcard ?

I already tried to restore it, but then iTunes shows "register this iPhone or restore a previous backup"... When I choose "register..." it doesn't go with the activation process....

How to force it ?

Thanks/Dany.

3.0 requires you to have iPhone data plan or you have to jailbreak the iPhone.

You have one other option and that is to download the 3.1 beta software and have someone register the UUID of that iPhone on their dev account.

Then you can use any AT&T SIM. It will autoactivate the iPhone.

email me @ wynndc@yahoo.com if you need more info on the UUID registration on a dev account.
