How to force an app store app to update?

I use Bitwarden as my password manager and have the macOS version installed from the app store. I just changed some web settings, and now I need the latest version of the desktop app, but the update is not showing up yet. Is there a way to force Bitwarden to update to the newest version?

Uninstall the app via Launchpad. Then download it again via the App Store. Should do the trick.
