Hello guys,

Every time I open Finder I see a bunch of folder already opened from previous moments. It's very annoying, specially with all the animation and when I'm using a Open File from apps. Is there any way to force Finder not to do that? I don't want it to "remember" where or what I was doing...

Thanks!

I assume you're using Mountain Lion. I'm not, so the exact setting you need to fix escapes me. But you should be able to find it in Preferences.

Alternatively, before you shut down, hold down option and click to close a window. All of them will close, and Finder will remember that too, I think.
