Hi,

I often get something like "xxx program is preventing shutdown". Sometimes I have to manually shut down several apps. Is there a way to force quit all apps automatically during shut down process?

Thanks.

You may be able to force it with the shutdown Terminal command.

However, if an app is preventing shutdown, then it's usually because it requires you to do something, like save a document, or make some decision. If you're getting apps that are hanging or locking up at shutdown, then that's another problem that you need to fix.

Yeah, is there any way to force quit and save any open documents automatically.

I also have some issues with having to force quit some apps. Just installed Mavericks but I was having some issues with MLion.

Thanks.
