So i have an NTFS external hard drive, 1tb capacity. Problem is mac wont let me write to NTFS. How do i format it so that mac lets me write to it. I also want to be able to use it on my windows xp box.

thanks.

If you format it to HFS apple format then your windows machine won't be able to read it without extra software, which I believe is MacDrive.

For NTFS on the Mac there are drivers for OSx to write to NTFS.

Oh where are they found? I searched on google and the workaround seems a bit lengthy and complicated.
