How to format a drive keeping the same ID. System Restore

Hi

I got a message from CCC saying that the drive ID can change when formatting the drive and hence unauthorize plugins that have this type of copy protection.

I need to restore the system and I'll do it over the same drive used to create the backup I'll be restoring from. I'd like to make sure the drive keeps the same ID once it is formatted prior the restore so I have no plugin authorisation problems. Is there a way to achieve that? The drive is a Samsung Evo 1TB SSD. Anyone please?
